Royal Berkshire, OK yah!!!! LOL!

It is not quite as hot as it has been, it is just about bvearable to take the dogs out in the afternoon now because there has been quite a breeze the last few days but I tend to follow the path by the river/streams around the fields so that they have somewhere to keep having a paddle & drink or go down the disused railway which is quite shady!! It is much nicer in the mornings though when I get them out between 6.30 - 7.00

Mine are under the duvets too in sunny Royal Surrey. Its been so hot all their fur has fallen out and is on the kitchen floor :sweating:

we were in Devon during last week's heat wave and our dogs spent the week in kennels (their first time  )

Even though we viewed the kennels a few times, I was really worried that we would come back to 4 sad and skinney dogs - just shows how we flatter ourselves! they were absolutely fine.

The kennel owner was in stitches though, cos she said that when she went in early in the mornings, the whippets would come and greet her at the door - the IG's could just be seen by their black noses popping out from under the duvet, and thats where they would stay until she brought in their breakfast!
