Just wondered if anyone had heard of a racing wippet called Deecan[dont know if its spelt like that!] Was told he is grand sire of my 7 mths old puppy.She is saluki/greyhound/wippet.Would love to just see what he looks like ) or wether he still races.Pup came from Blackburn Lancs.

Is that the dogs racing name or pet name? I know you say the pup was from Blackburn but any idea where the grandsire was from?

Was it a pedigree racing whippet?

If you are talking about the racing name, the nearest name I can think of is Deacon Blue but I think he might have been too old to be the grandsire of your pup.
