:( Rifle has developed a very sore ear, red and obviously itchy but painful as he cries every time he scratches it!! Can't see anything in the ear but it's quite possible given the area we walk in (he just loves being in the dunes or indeed anywhere there is lots of long grass where little furry things may be lurking!!). Guess it's going to be another trip to the vets, he's going to run up a bigger bill there than i am with the solicitor handling my divorce!!

How is the ear today :( ? Hope he's feeling better.

Alison

How is he doing, did you take him to the vet. I bet it was nothing to worry about but being a typical whippet owner you did (w00t) .

My little pup is always scatching, even till, he screams in pain , he has no fleas or ear mites but he scratches on (w00t) My vet think's here comes the cheque book untill he realised I know dogs just like he does :- " :- "

Hope you dog is on the mend and nothing more than an ear infection

Seems that it is some sort of ear infection. I was concerned in case it was someting like a grass seed but the vet couldn't find anything other than his ear being very red and inflamed! He's got some ear drops (which he hates!!) so keeping my fingers crossed that it clears up soon. He just wants loads of sympathy and big :huggles: Thanks for your concern

Oh bless him, poor little chap! At least you know you have done your best and his ear will start to get better :D Give him lots of huggles from us
