According to the greyhound star this event is to be held at portsmouth greyhound track, can anyone confirm please :cheers:

Brilliant Karen your comments have given Arthur and I the best laugh of the day, yes it is true, after all it is called the South Coast Scratch Championships so the venue could not be more appropriate could it? I have been in contact with many tracks more central but I am afraid with Warwick no longer available and Henlow Bends not interested we were very grateful that Portsmouth agreed to stage our event.

I have been told it's one of the safest tracks in the Country, the assistant Manager Paul Clark an ex whippet racer and understands our racing format, I am sure when the personnel at some tracks we have used see our dogs running the amount of times they do and dogs having solo runs and coming off of the launch pads we put in the traps they must question our sanity.

I don't quite understand why Portsmouth folk..... refer to PUPS as PAPS but apart from that I'm sure Portsmouth is a SPECFISTULAR place! lol
