Both Greyhound traps for scratch races and staggered traps for finals although for feds as you get your yard i would have thought unless it was scratch racing you would have to use whippet traps

(w00t) The Don! great photo and not a skip in sight!

Thank you Jade for putting the results on and pics-looking forward to seeing your dads too with the new camera....Saw him fiddling with his long lense for most of the day.

Good days racing-thoroughly enjoyed it-

Got some very tired pups here too who also enjoyed their day out.

Karen

P.S Hope Jack the Lad is ok too-took a nasty tumble-thought he may have hurt his neck the way he fell.

Does anyone have any times from today ? I just want to finish my programme and it somehow doesnt seem complete without times on it ...

Found the following on a obscure greyhound site...

Highgate 260m

Askern 280m (shorter distance also stated)

Stainforth 278m

Easington 247m

Kinsley 260m

Warwick 275m

Westhoughton 240 yds

Reckon it's fairly accurate, but they do change, also Stainforth has the longest run to the 1st bend.

Anyways, well done to all the organisers, the winners and everyone else who attended. Sadly I couldn't make it...the dog was fine, in fact he was really pleasing me, but I started with sunstroke about a week an half ago and this left me open to a 'viral infection' and I still feel pretty poo..

Regards,

Paul

i think that stainforth is longer than that. i think its way further than 3 m longer than warwick.

cheers for distances, just wondering where to trial my dog looks like wheatley hill 265 or maybe easington both good tracks.

I think your right, I thought it was nearer 242?

Regards,

Paul

Also, thanks Spellbound...

I've seen Warwick advertised as 265m, Highgate 260m and Stainforth 278m.
