South West Whippet Fun Day

It was fab, we had a great time (w00t)

When we arrived at about 9 it was dismal and the rain was coming down in sheets but just after 10 it stared to ease off and the people started to arrive

Well organised and good fun the dogs all enjoyed themselves and came home witth some lovely trophies.

The sun came out to shine on us later in the day, shame poor Gary had such trouble with the lure but these things happen. Ruso and Badger got a bit of a run, but Ruso caught the lure, somersaulted and got it wrapped round his body and one of his legs twice  Badger tried to grab the lure as well which didn't help and they both told each other off  Still, not a mark on Ruso from the line, very lucky :sweating:

Poor Winx on the other hand was crestfallen as the lure was never fixed again and so he didn't get a go

The sausage and spoon races were a hoot and hysterical to watch (w00t)

The best bit of the day was meeting up with Jakey and his new owners. Although he was very pleased to see me and the lads, he was very very happy with Kelle and Lawrence!

Nice cakes too :- "

A very well run event, well done to all the volunteers who helped and we can't wait for next year :D
