If only it had been a championship show!! No it was only an Open show.

I was SO proud of Gladly. He only got the bandage off his tail the night before the show, and I was delighted to win that lovely class but then to get Res best dog from Veteran was amazing - and being reserve to Zephyr was lovely - he's such a beautiful boy!

I'd like to say that Cherry Queen (Pip) and Graceful Lady (Willow - expertly handled by Alfie!), who were 1st and 2nd in Veteran bitch are litter sisters who will be 13 in April, and neither ever went to a show until they were 9. They looked fantastic and put my 10 year old to shame!.

Treated Zephyr to a great morning's racing at South Oxford on Sunday, to make up for all the standing around on Saturday - boy did he have a great time! :huggles: :thumbsup:

What a lovely friendly show it was, never been down to SW Whippet before but will definitely go again! :thumbsup:

I was very proud of my little 'nephew' Zephyr- he showed beautifully and I've never seen him looking so good :wub: :cheers:

Can't say I was quite so proud of my ratbag Mabel, who did everything she possibly could to stand like a sack of spuds in her class, then stood perfectly like a statue for her critique! :rant:
