I have no idea what to expect at this show

Can anyone give me an outline of what's what? For example, will I need to bring Monty's wellies? :p And will I need to bring my purse :- "

Since it has been at Newbury the weather has been fairly good so we have been able to use the outside rings which are a real good size. The show is well laid out with plenty of proper roads throughout. Dont know what the wet weather rings are like? The only down side is the trek to the loos.

You will need your purse, its your turn to buy the teas

Really hope the weather holds :luck: :luck: :luck:

I really like Southern Counties as they have more food stands than at other shows (w00t) and they used to have a hog roast, but ahven't had it for a few years now :( but I still live in hope :- " :- "

Sorry I don't think much further than food!!

I always think of it as a 'hot' show but don't think that'll be the case this year somehow although the forecast doesn't look too bad now!

Good luck everyone :luck: we have a 2 day Int Ch Show in the South of Ireland this week-end,and as we are now FCI and the Basenji is Group 5 and the Whippets are Group 10 we are there for BOTH days!! So cannot make it over this year to SC :(

YES!!!! Alison you will need your purse there are a lot of trade stands! It is a nice show with great big grass rings.....enjoy it!

Is the start time still 9.30 .As it would be nice to have a bit of a lye-in   and not have to leave home at 4.00am

I remember the hog roast Jo!

Our stand used to be next door to the hog roast, and they used to give us all the crackling we wanted, until I almost made myself sick on it! :x

I'm not showing tomorrow, but just going with a friend for a day out as it's only about 40 mins from home, so see you all tomorrow

Good luck everyone :luck:
