there really is no pleasing some folk

the kids were allowed in the bar however I think most of them prefered being in the play area which is right outside, the Leisure Lakes is a family orientated holiday resort there are loads of things for the kids to do throughout the day in a safe environment.

The A/T members pulled their guts out after getting us this venue earlier this year, getting the track as good as they possibly could in a very short time, it was too good an opportunity to miss and we now have a venue where the owners want the whippet racers there, and we have been given a free hand to do what we want with the ground, so taking into account none of us live on the doorstep we feel by running a club there will give us the opportunity to make improvements and iron out any problems that may arise

The main thing is we will have a good track and a venue that can accommodate a big weekend event everything else is a bonus

IVE NO OBJECTION TO THE VENUE OR TRACK WHICH WILL OBVIOUSLY BE MUCH IMPROVED WHEN ITS FENCED OFF AND HAVE A BIT OF TLC.MY ONLY CONCERN IS THE FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN I UNDERSTAND THAT WAS THE MAIN COMPLAINT.WE MUST ENCOURAGE FAMILYS TO COME RACING AND CATER FOR THERE NEEDS.I HOPE IM NOT ALONE ON THINKING ABOUT THIS.
MUST APOLOGISE WHEN IM WRONG WAS OBVIOSLY MISINFORMED ABOUT THE FACILITIES FOR THE KIDS.LUCKY OURS ARE OFFHAND BUT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT WAVE OF GRANDCHIDREN TEDDY AND JOE WHO HAVE STARR RETIRED LITTER SISTER TO TINKERS MILL COMING RACING.

Great news that we can make this track our home!! Think it goes without saying that changes needed to be made but everybody was well aware of that, and we should be grateful for this great opportunity! I think there is potential for the track to be as good as anywhere (Kirckaldy being the track i think we should aspire to lol), Big field, loads of space for a huge run in for the dogs, being allowed to fence the track off and lay whatever turf we choose, all sounds fantastic to me!! A great investment for our sport for the future!

Well done to all who have secured this for us, think you all deserve congratulations, and support for the hard work that will be undertaken!

Ps, can I make one request? When we go next time can we have the porta loo's in slightly more user friendly places so if it does rain I dont turn to Shrek treking through the swamp to go for a wee hahaha- Oh yeah and can we try and persuade them to extend the club house for us :p
