SPECIAL THANKS TO MEMBERS OF THURROCK CLUB FOR A GREAT WEEKEND FEW PERSONS I LIKE TO THANK FOR LOVELY WEEKEND ARE PAT AND JOHN WHO WORKED VERY HARD TO KEEP THIS EVENT ON AFTER HAVING TO CHANGE VENUES AT LAST MINUTE.TREVOR FOR IS WORK SETTING THE TRACK UP AT 6 OCLOCK IN MORNING LORRAINE AND TREVORS PARTNER FOR WORK IN THE REFRESHMENTS ALL WEEKEND AND JIM FOR DOING THE TRAPS AND NOT FORGETING THE BARBEQUE RAY AND IS PARTNER RAE PUT ON FRIDAY NIGHT 40/50 PEOPLE EAT AND DRINK FREE OF CHARGE WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND ME AND MY FAMILY HAD WITH GOOD COMPANY AND SOME GOOD RACING WELL DONE ALL THE WINNERS I SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR. :thumbsup:

:thumbsup: :thumbsup: Got back from the week-end Thurrock Opens today, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The weather was perfect, and there was some brilliant racing.

Best of all was the crowd that was there. We were camped near to the Smith clan, they are some of the best people in whippet racing today.

There is never a dull moment when they are around, I don't know where Trevor & Hayley get their energy from, apart from having two young children they both worked tirelessly over the whole week-end.

:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Thurrock club members really put themselves out to make this week-end a success, and it paid off.

The camping area was huge, and I hear that the locals in the club across the road made the whippet people very welcome.

Well done to you all, and once again thanks for a great week-end
