So there’s only a few things that I’ve noticed with Spike since he’s been blind. It’s barely affected him but he’s become more Jack Russell lol, going through the bushes sniffing everywhere, which he never did, actually playing ball, and the other day alerted us to the fact that there was a bird stuck in the wall! He would never have noticed that before.

This is him showing us where it was, I had to open up the UPVC around the side of the doors

Two days on the trot I’ve had to do the same thing, this bird is daft lol. So all in all he’s doing really really well and doesn’t seem to miss Roxy bossing him around, vet said he could possibly be more relaxed now she’s gone and that seems to be the case. We all miss her like crazy because she bossed us all, but he’s just getting on with life as long as he gets his chicken treats he’s a happy boy lol

Aww Spike what a clever boy you are :) and such a cutie!
Its amazing how our dogs adapt, when I lost Suzie Zak managed better than we thought she was very bossy over him and I think he just chilled out more. I think it was us that found it more difficult x

Yes whippylove it sounds like with Suzie and Zak it was the same situation as us x The bossy ones leave a big hole xx
