A few of the club member's have asked if Rachel did the sponsored walk,,,

She did it (w00t)

I never went :- " :- " TOOOOO Scared, but John went and also a friend of Rachel :thumbsup:

She walked both ways ,,,she found it from being the best thing to the most scarey thing she has done,,,her advice to me was ,,,Don't stand still mum,,,or the bridge move's from side to side (w00t) (w00t)

I still dont know the full amount she made, but thank you to Kirkcaldy w r c,,Calidonian Ped WRC , to family and friends and to Bruce and his wife (forgot her name :b ) for sponsoring her :thumbsup:

Rachel is a BOWER GIRL in the Bathgate Gala Day in just over 2 weeks time,,,photo's of that day to come :thumbsup:

All the money goes to the Bathgate Gala Day as it cost's over £20,000 to run the event and it's a Bathgate tradition,,,so long may it last :cheers:

Thanks again those who sponsored Rachel in her sponsored walk over the Forth Road Bridge. Where we live the procession is a big part of the towns history and we are over the moon that Rachel has been chosen to take part in the procession. For quite a while we along with family, friends and neighbours have been making decorations as we are going to try and decorate our house as it is part of the tradition of the procession and all going well we will put some photographs on here. I was born and brought up in the town and for me the procession brings back so many happy memories from my childhood so long may it continue and live in the memories of the future generations of children when they have grown up to become adults. Okay since the whole of Bathgate wont see these photo's as it's tradition to keep what you make and the theme a secret I will post a few photo's of what we have made and done to date

The theme is SCOOBY DOO (w00t) (w00t) Rachel wanted a doggy theme :- " :- "

All the bags have crept paper roses in them and are on Gary's pool table ( he can't wait till the Gala is all over so he can play pool again)

So dont tell anyone from WEST LOTHIAN our theme :lol: :lol:

Rachel rose £52.70p for the gala next year with her walk over the forth bridge (w00t) .

We are now well on our way with doing the garden for her, got the arches made (just the spruce to put on) John is getting the spruce tomorrow :thumbsup: All the crept paper things are made (photo's to come next week) and we are now getting the BBQ food in .

I just hope it does not rain ,,,Roll on the 2nd June,,we are now ready for it all (w00t) (w00t)

Rachel has been to 2 of the 4 reheasal's for the gala day , only 2 more to go ) ,,she is now getting to know here lines and where she should be on the big day
