Its next to the palace in front of the ranger station and starts about 9.30/10 am and will continue throughout the day

Look forward to meeting you

Shona

How absolutely fabulous. As an ex-deerhound owner I hope that those of us who can't go are going to see pics of the lovely hairy beasties running in that setting.

All the very best. :luck: :luck:

IMPORTANT - To all those wishing to come along and spectate or take part in the fun dog show please note that the entire Park will be closed to vehicular traffic. This is because the Festival Cavalcade will be making its way through the Park from around 11am and there will be a 'reduced' version of Fringe Sunday taking place on the playing fields.

Please take this into account when planning your route/visit. Parking can be found in the adjoining street around Meadowbank, Spring Gardens and Abbeyhill but best to arrive early to avoid Fringe spectators nabbing all the spaces ;)

Is there any chance of Otis the lurcher getting a run? He's nearly half whippet and a quarter deerhound, I'm sure he'd be happy to make up the numbers in either category as a bye!! He won't think much of spectating and I don't think that the dog show will make up for it in his eyes....

We're looking forward to it anyway, fingers crossed for the weather...

Jenny :)

We are going to be pretty pushed for time on the day I think

Wouldnt really like to say whether there will be time

With the amount of entries there wont be a chance of a bye either

SORRY X

We will be there with Dolly and Mojo, I haven't managed to see any whippet racing yet and I am sure we will all love watching it. Hopefully meet some K9ers aswell!
