We had a great day at Border Union, cos we WON the Jean Cooke Memorial Novice Stakes under Patsy Hollings. Bit disappointed thought because the winner from last year didn't bother to return the trophy so we could have our photo taken with it and neither was there any prize money. The stewards told me to go and get my winnings, but when I got there, there was none.

I would of asked for my money back   Then told them what they could do with the Jean Cooke Memorial Novice Stakes. :- "

Congrats on the win, shame about the stuff-ups.

 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

A pity for the Trophy :(

Well done on your win - they are such big classes - at least you know that you beat the rest.

It seems pretty poor that a show that size cna't organize things better than that though

I thought the idea of a STAKES class was that there is money at STAKE :D

What a bummer Jan  , but well done anyway

well done anyway

 Thanks for y our kind words, but look at it this way, I don't have a trophy to clean or insure or make sure I get it back in one piece. As for any dosh I'd probably have bought lots of chocolate to celebrate so they are doing my waist line good!

Vey well done Jan, those classes are hard to win

Sorry about the chocolate, great news about the savings on insurance thou :D

Congratulations Jan! Who did you win this Stake with? Shame about the prizes.

I won with Lol, aka Nevedith Chakole Inspired. It was only his 3rd Champ Show, so he did a good job.

 As usual, Dawn's right, it's just that when I look at him sometimes he's so like his Dad that I mix the two up.

Not sure what Dawn means in the second bit though???
