Stanley had another date with Mischa the greyhound. Unfortunately I picked the wrong day weatherwise for their rendezvous. :- "

Stan's also not very impressed with my photos of their date and has warned me not to post them on K9, but I'm going to anyway.

Mischa looked as lovely and unperturbed as ever, despite the foul weather...

I think she was a tad relieved to be heading back down to the car at this point though....

back in the warm and dry, and still looking graceful and calm...

Stanley looking grumpy....'why can't I sit on the back seat too?'

In the meantime the selfish owners popped into the local pub for a reviving hot chocolate and a natter, next to a roaring fire

Fred decided to say at home in the warm and dry btw.

Poor Stan in that first picture... :huggles: a tad muddy to say the least.

Mischa is such a pretty girl... :wub: and glad you still all enjoyed yourselves.

Poor Jill. :huggles: Fred hates the wet too. He looked quite happy to stay at home for a change this time around.

Stan looks really miserable in that last shot, because he doesn't like the door on the Kangoo when i'm about to close it. Once it's closed he relaxes and settles down. He's not fussed about the wet and mud really (I don't trim him but leave a good coat on for the winter complete with guard hair and thick undercoat); he runs through all the mud quite happily. He just looks such a bedraggled mess...it's quite amusing . He soon dried off once back at home, after giving himself a good rub on the carpets and settee, avoiding my big towel :angry:

Mischa's lovely......nothing phases her...except she looked rather tempted by some free range chickens wandering nearer the village.

AWWW Stan, fancy your mother taking you out in all that mud, come and live with me, i will find you a nice clean place to walk and run :huggles:
