Well had a great day today, managed to get afew courses in before a setback with the lure but we then ran straights afterwards so all hounds got a few runs.

Good turout and had some cracking runs with keen dogs, nice to meet some new folk with their hounds.

Big thanks must go to Lin and her family who spent Friday mowing the course and mending the lure and today also running the lure and even cooking which was fab.

Big thanks to Gareth for provisions and pics.

Thanks also to Ben for lots of running and slipping (oakmoorehill)

We had whippies, greys, lurchers, affies and Clares Gasgigne/affie!

Will keep you posted for next time Jan

Oakmoorehill here using Ben's sign in name I cann't get in of my own due to being in the middle of changing internet provider and email address.

We had a great day with Button she really enjoyed herself.hopefully next time we will be able to stay longer. Button has slept since we got in so it must have done her some good. o:)

We are looking forward to next time if you'll have us again I promise I'll bring Ben again  Although he was slipping everyone elses dogs but pulled a face about slipping Button for me even though he was going to the start with the lure  Thats kids for you

Fabulous day and was great to see so many hounds happy and up for a good run. Although have to admit that it was more than borderline hysterical for me to see my large greyhound/gsd/collie boy hairing up the straight was thinking more along the lines of fairy elephant than graceful lurcher :- "

Queenie thoroughly enjoyed it my white greyhound girl and was extremely keen to have a good run and very focused which I wasnt sure she would be. My main worry was how her recall would drop but she actively saught out me or her Dad at the end of each run which made me feel so proud of her. :huggles: :b

Thanks all for a great day
