Being new to all this breeding/pedigree lark I am reading with interest and trying to learn the names etc!! :lol:

My parents dog' registered name is Starwing Miss Plum and I was wondering if anyone knew about the Starwing line and if I could find any info about it.

I have two Starwyng names on my pedigree program which is pretty inclusive for the UK, but no Starwings. They seem to have a relationship to Savuka/Kaymark and Palmik and Puddledock. Both appear to have been bred in the mid 90s (Starwyng Parfait Amour was born in July 1995). The sad truth about some pedigrees is that some people drop into a breed for a very short period of time, become breeders for a couple of litters under a name, and then drop from sight, forever. This makes it very tough to trace some lines back.

If Starwyng (and frankly the similarity in names, despite spelling, is something that says to me they are likely one and the same just spelled differently...) is not connected to your dog, you should contact the Kennel Club and see if they can help you.

Just to let you know what I have:

Starwyng Parfait Amour was born ion 3 July 1995 out of Kaymark Step to the Beat x Catcherscan Ubedizzy Starwyng (Sturzaker Santino at Catcnherscan x Kaymark Kirsty). The second dog I have is Starwyng Kelyners, parentage unknown but she was bred to Savuka Sensation at Selinkoand produced Running Flush, who bred to Eng.Ch. Puddledock Swan Song produced Moonlight Good Fortune. Moonlight Good Fortune, bred to Palmik High Roller produced the last dog in my personal link -- Man of Mode.

I might be wrong but I am sure K9er Nina had a Starwyng many years ago, a pretty little particolour bitch, if my memory serves me correctly. Try giving her a pm

Avalonia, it may well be starwyng. I haven't seen my parent's dog's (Zoe's) pedigree so i may have spelt it wrong. I'll have to get my mum to dig it out.

She is 10 years old so make the late 1990's connect correct.

I'll pm her then dessie. Zoe is a parti colour (if you can squint at my sig picture!!).

It looks like our dogs are related then Avalonia.

We found Zoe's pedigree at the weekend and her dam is Catcherscan Ubedizzy with Starwyng (Sturzaker Santino of Catcherscan x Kaymark Kirsty) and her sire is Kaymark Quest for Hutaka (Kaymark Blue Atlantis x Fleetway Graceful of Kaymark).
