From the secretary of Old Hall W.R.C. in regards to T Wetherson and Y Ragnoli

They were at Old Hall on Sunday but they neither raced or trialed their dogs. Some members were unhappy at them being there but it was agreed at our A.G.M that we will not take action against anyone failing a drug test,we haven't in the past and we will not descriminate now therefore this subject is closed.

With regard to the N.W.R.F we feel that this has nothing to do with Old Hall whippet racing club as a whole, members make their own decisions.

As you know we are trying to keep a friendly atmosphere but it doesn't help when people don't get their facts right.

IT WOULD SEEM THAT AFTER THIS LETTER AND THE MEMBERS MEETING TO SAY WE CAN RUN OUR DOGS AT OLD HALL, A BALLOT HAS BEEN SENT OUT TO MEMBERS SAYING WE ARE BANNED FROM OLD HALL, AND THE BALLOT IS SAYING THEY NOW WANT TO BAN OUR DOGS FROM OPENS RUN THERE, SO IT WOULD SEEM IT KNOW LONGER MATTER ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS AT MEMBERS MEETING, SOME OF THE COMMITTEE WILL DO WHAT THEY WANT ANYWAY,

The ballot papers that have been sent out are to ask members if they want Tony and Yvonne banning from running at future events at Asfordby not at Old Hall. we received a ballot paper yesterday.... :b

that statement was dated feb 04 so maybe members have had a change of heart since then?

Lee the ballot papers sent out for Asfordby are for Asfordby members only as it clearly staites.

Getting a little confused by all this...anyhow Thurrock had a vote today on wether or not to ban yvonne and tony from BWRA events....I understand the letter came from Mr Fitzpatrick, as I believe he was instructed to by some members, please correct if i am wrong...anyhow the Thurrock club voted against banning them, so I believe this will be the mandate for our reps at any meeting that is called.

It is for the secretary of your region who received the paper to ascertain the views of all of the members of your region and for the reps to take that vote with them to the meeting. If your region consists of only one club then you can only take that one clubs vote. Done the proper way, and I for one haven't seen any change,if there are more than one club in a region then the reps for each club take their club vote to the region. This was in place to stop a club with the largest membership always getting their own way on any matter. (A club vote was the same as the region, 2 reps and a president)

ANYONE KNOW THE RESULTS OF OLD HALL AND ASHFORDBY RESULTS ON THE VOTES

CAUSE THE WAY I HEAR IT BOTH YVONNE AND TONY ARE BANNED FROM RUNNING THE DOGS ON BOTH TRACKS AND BOTH ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELDS

SO HOW COME THEY ARE STILL TURNING UP AT ASHFORDBY AND BEEN ABLE TO RUN AT ANY EVENTS.

ALSO WHY DID THEY BOTH FEEL THE NEED TO JOIN THE BWRA THOUGH A NORTH EAST CLUB WAS THIS BECAUSE THERE OWN REGION REFUSED THEM ?
