We're starting to notice my old girl Morgan (12.5) is getting stiff around her back and back legs. Occasionally when she's trotting her toenails 'scuff' the ground which is great for keeping them short  but is obviously a sign her gait is stiff. :(

This has only really become noticable over the last few months so we're wondering about finding a joint supplement for her. We already give her a little oil in her food and a general conditioner from Dorwest Herbs and she's been fine.

I don't really want to give her medication yet. We've found a supplement that has Chondroitin, Glucosamine + vitamins, lipids and antioxidants.

Any recommendations?

We have used Chondroitin+ Glucosamine ever since Dolly tore her cruciate ligament and i am sure that helped her recover so quickly. We still give it to her to help just in case she gets stiff. We get ours from healthspan as reccomended by someone on this forum. I highly reccomend it.

I used to give Dante the Healthspan Glucosamine + Omega 3 capsules before he got very picky eating. Worked a treat on him.

i have just started useing green rub wich is a muscle rub for greyhounds wich also seems to give them a realy shiney coat as well
