John, just a thought. Why don't you run ABCDE format as it's something you've been keen on and it would show others why this is a good method of formating lurcher racing?

At some stage yeh jac. but this is a 1-on-1 event. in the style of ..

32 DOGS @ 16 HEATS....THEN 16 DOGS @ 8 HEATS...8 DOGS @ 4 HEATS...

 

SEMI-FINAL OF 4 DOGS @ 2 HEATS

 

FINAL ------2 DOGS

and a consolation event for first heat losers.

when i get 32 names ill have a few guys round for the drawing of the heats.

Spoke to council....penciled in JULY 19th.  thats a clear weekend with no other events or shows .  were all off the july week after 12th so thatl give me time to have the track inspected for holes etc  and filled in .
    Id appreciate pms solidly confirming your acceptance so i can organise the card and stuff !  to give res champ something for getting to final the total prize wil go 70-30.

What about the consolation prize for us with the slower stuff.Was counting on going to the Scotish champs that weekend,as Donemana is the week after.Guess i'll have to miss one of them now,as i want a crack at this one.Will pm u in a minute or two.

you could take this event on tour john,different location every year,maybe next year KENT ,we will be waiting :- " hope it all goes off well for you mate.

billy as far as im aware the scottish champs are on the same week as donemana. have a look at my dates post to see.

hey John.Stick Niki in too mate,if u don't mind,as Kirsty said there's no way one of her's ain't runnin.Ok by me mate,not my money.Just wish Trouble would have been ready,but no chance,as she would have to b got fit,after the toe heals again.Bout that Scotland thingy.Is it not the Derby and then the champs,or visa versa mate,and are they not on the 19 and 26 July. ...Billy... Just went back and looked on the show list thingy John,and guess what mate.U have nowt down for Scottish Champs or the Derby.19 AND 26 MATE,19 AND 26.CHECK IT OUT.

billy...im not putting non-ped events on here with my lurcher dates. yes nic owners are slipping their own dogs :thumbsup:

remember..the date ive given is not guaranteed. apart from anything else it cant coincide with a date ill be in england scotland or wales. but ill know by next week what date exactly itll be on :thumbsup:
