While talking about fantasy stud dogs why not take it one step further and have a fantasy bitch to go along with it I’d be interested to see peoples pairings.Mine would be mad mick x Dancing wind.

Fantasy matings.....mustard(need a miracle)+ xstacy or anything to little madam.
 
firstly the price of  whippet pups in my opinion are really cheap considering the breeder that always travels to mate there bitch then has to bring to the puppys ups then is there any vets bills .We had a section with blue goblin and beleive me there not cheap £300 at lest.        secondly if people are going to advertise there dogs in the stud register how do they know if there duties will be called on ie june steeles got the right idea trying to get a bitch for her little dog billy whiz this is a kinda magics litter brother how knows he may kick better pups out than a kinda magic marrilion threw more champions than dreanm vision they were litter brothers but marrilion got a lot more bitches. if you have large dogs your not going to get little bitches coming to you because of the risk in them having problems in birth with large puppys . if you fancy a stud dog and have the transport then you should travel the thing is there are so many whippets with out greyhould going back in there lines thats been bred for years to there smallest (hens blue goblin) that you have to be very careful with stud dog you choose.
 
Going back to the Stud dogs, here's my list:

Great shame the sport lost GILLETTE

Depending on size of the bitch COLOUR BLIND or SUGAR FIRE.

Any of MAD MICK, AQUEOUS, BLUE BOY i really like this dog and he's had no where near as much running as the others.

KISS N TELL well bred little dog who came back as good as new from broken leg.

Got to agree with Michelle on Little Madam!!!!!! as brood bitch.
 
what happend to gillette,he was one of th best.
 
as i like big dogs what about  grahams dream  x evita

speed and stamina
 
I don't know the guy who's dog it was but he let Rick have it to race for him, i get the impression that once it started flying the guy decided he wanted him back and Gillette lost loads of weight and fur and generally looked crap, the fella went to Kinsley to run him and they wouldn't let him run  it in that condition and he was never seen since, if i was Rick i think i would have considered kid-knapping him!!!!!!  Micheal told me that Steve & Julie had him booked for Cheeky Madam (now that i would have fancied) but they obviously changed their mind once Rick & Mick let him go.

I think Michelle told me that Evita had been spayed (you do like your big dogs don't you).

Also back to Gillette he was excellent to watch race he used to run for fun and didn't even look like he was trying to go fast.
 
evita was booked to go to akinda magic, but when she came in season apparentley she got a nasty infection of some sort and nothing cleared it up so the vet recommended spaying. I fancy gillette as well but it was manky when we saw it at kinsley!!!,
 
Gillette x Taylor Maid Mmmmmm do you think there is any chance they could have curly tails Michelle?

If anyone wants to use soapy joe as a stud i`ll give them £20 today as I`ve 3 bitches in heat and he`s doing my head in.BTW he is at stud and he`ll mate anthing - dogs, bitches, out of heat , sofa`s - anything !
 
Soapy Joe would mate his self given half the chance!!!!!
 
Scarback was bred off 19lb pedigree whippet bitch (Fly) x 74lb greyhound dog (Langton Abbot), but you wouldn't dream of putting these two together in this day and age.  Mind you look at all what came out of it maybe this is where the sport's going wrong, you never know!
 
you just cant tell really vicky wonderwall 47lb mated amy 36lb and she had difficulties she lost two pups and gave birth to six we had to take her to vets in between birthing because she was just so tired and was giving up but i think 19lb to 74lb is ridiculous its a wonder the bitch could cope  
 
going back to gillette a brilliant dog, as was tyback hes the only dog ive seen beat gillette in same weight group. and still no one wants to use him.a real shame i think.
 
Talking of stud dogs why do some people say I’m not using such a such dog because it throws bullys surely they can come from the bitches side or do they? Also is it always possible to tell a bull at say 8 weeks or can they slip through the net until older. Id be interested in peoples thoughts.
