A very long day of racing and other things that had to be attended too, the N.N.W.R.F. committee had to be their for 11-00 am, James the track manager was there at 5-30 am to work the frost out of the running surface and the track catering staff were also there to get things ready for the racing. Who would have thought that the Gods would conspire to see that what could go wrong did do, to make such a long day. One team of racers who always help when called to, Dave, Jean and vanessa Warren got a bit of payback for their work and support yesterday with their young dog Granite taking the dogs and overall consolation races, put a smile on my face as well as Daves, well done to you. Thanks to everyone for their patience whilst we went from problem to problem with the lure but in between there were some fantastic racing, well done to everyone for making a long day into a good day also.

ON BEHALF OF DAVID AND JAMES FORM HIGHGATE THEY WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING THROUGHOUT THE PROBLEMS YESTERDAY, THEY WERE DETERMINED THAT THE RACING WASN'T GOING TO BE ABANDONED.

On behalf of the NNWRF committee and members I would like to thank all the staff at Highgate it was a very long day but they pulled out all the stops to overcome the problems with the lure, I had visions of another Warwick but they were determined that wasn't going to happen :cheers:

The weather was atrocious well done Daniel (highgate trap man) and our own Geoff hope youve thawed and dried out and thanks to David and James for allowing our members to take their dogs inside the bar where they could be kept warm and dry. Thanks to the rest of the committee for all their hard work just one more to go then you can have a well deserved break until Feb 2008.

well done 2 the north east dogs FOXY ROXY on gaining supreme and SHOWMAN on winning his weight class. 1st time ive seen both of these 2 on the bends and have to ay they both impressed me. oops also well done 2 SMOKEY BLUE on winning his cons weight class in his 1st competitive bend race. ( its that kick board moira lol)

just a thank you to the people phoning to see our kizz aka ACCA was.she has done her gracius which seems to be quite a bad injury and not sure if she will race again but she is doing fine
