Just invested in a swimming pool for our lovelies, does anyone know if the temp. is important with respect to the benefits that this exercise provides.

Obviously it doesn't want to be too cold....does anyone know or use a pool for their dogs too?

An Australian guy once tried to sell us a franchise for portable spa. He said they where a big thing as a wind down on G/hnd tracks over there.

He reckoned the big secret was the temprature. Because dogs have a higher body temprature than us what seems reasonable to us is cold to them, especially a nesh whippet. This spa thing pumped water out at about the heat we would use on a cold night. We never bought into it, couldn't see it taking off over here but we give ours a hot shower with the massage head & it seems to loosen them off.

If you want we'll run up the M6 & give it a test run for you. The hydro-therapy places charge £25 minimum :p :p :p
