This is a newy for me, I usually work in kangaroo hide but I made this collar using mostly English Bridle Leather. It was a pig of a thing to make but I think the end result is pretty good. I dont see myself doing anymore though cause it took ages & I personally prefer the light soft roo but I think this would be a super collar if you want a hard wearing, strong collar that will take a beating. Maybe for hunting or if you have a mad puller at the races. It will fit a medium to large whippet, well by Aussie standards anyway. An 11" to 12.5" neck

Please have a look at Tags modelling debut, doesn't he look underwhelmed by it all.

Aah yes, the unreasonable things we expect our poor whippets to do. I had to lift his head to put the collar on & then lift it again to turn the collar around so I could take pics of both sides. He was like limp spaghetti, the poor mistreated beast.

Oh well, it has bids on it now & all of a sudden I am feeling a bit sorry it will sell. It was such a pig of a thing to make, I wont do another but now I dont want to part with it. :(

Linda..... fickle aren't I

gee, I think I better take back all the nasty things I said about this collar. hmmmm nice collar, good collar c'mon & I'll give you a nice oiling & then tuck you into bed so you can get your beauty sleep before you go to your new home.
