can't think now if she said he's ruptured 2 ligaments or tendons ( clarify it later ) but on a scale of 1 to 3 it is a grade 2 injury he is strapped up until the swelling and bruising goes down then the leg will be potted for 8 weeks he was chilled out and pain free last night as he was under sedation its giong to be a long job but he couldn't be in better hands than with Lin and Mal

is this a bad injury???????????????????
Well whether it's a ligament or a tendon, rupturing means there's been some tearing involved resulting in a long time off. Whether a 100% recovery is achieved is dependant on various factors. I'm sure Linda, Mal and the vet will all be working hard to help Sonny with this. :luck:

best of :luck: Linda he's a lovely dog and will without doubt get the best care all the best

I am really sorry to hear of your misfortunes with Sonny after all the hard work i know you two have put in --even to get him to go round the bends was a great effort as was mine with Barney but plenty of patience and TLC he will be right again i am sure i thought the worse when it happened way back in middle of January but things are looking brighter to-day thanks to a Brilliant Vets-practice and Karen's hard work caring for him--best of luck with him keep thinking positive thats the way i told myself things would be fine and it seems to be going that way now fingers crossed ---next steps water treatment at college--

steve :luck: :luck: :luck:

:luck: Linda, wishing him a full recovery
