Ireland's top Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet show

Saturday 10th April

The venue is the same as last year, outside Banbridge/ Lawerencetown, on the Scarva Road.

Simulated coursing will begin at 11:30, all dogs racing must be muzzled.

Showing will begin at 1:30.

There will be classes for terrier, lurchers, whippets and strong dogs but no banned breeds.

Straight racing will follow after this will include lurcher, whippet and terrier racing.

This show is a qualifier for many of the top UK shows including, Earth dog Running dog, Countryman's Weekly and the Scottish Champion of Champions at Glamis Castle other to be confirmed and will be updated

There will be oversea judges in attendance. There will be rosettes and trophies for all class winners. Prepetual trophies will be given to the champions.

There will be trade stands on the day including Jackson Field sports, which specialise in leather collars, leads etc

Food and drink will be available

I saw this advert on another site, had forgotten all about Banbridge so checked to see that it was listed on k9

those of you who have whippets can have a full weekend, as there is also the Sporting Whippet show and racing on Sunday (Dunsilly kennels, Antrim)

Sorry Howling Good Time, its just showing for the strong dogs no weight pulling this time round, but the weather is looking for the weekend so hope to see you there

Kirsty n me are realy looking forward to the show Dessie.She's been working hard for the last 3 weeks,since i got home from the hosy.Hope the day goes off well mate,for another good successfull day.Always a good show.Racing is spot on too,and agreat wee simulated coursing settup.Goodluck to all in attendance,and hopefully,an injury free day,for all dogs competing.See you all saturday folks.Just hope i can stick the pace,lol.Should be some great action shots at this one folks.As i can get realy close to the dogs here.Will be sending a few to the Countrymans this time round,too.So keep a good smile on you owl gubs.You's never know wen Billy click,might be looking youre way,haha.Wath the Deidrie one too,as she's getting a dab hand with that wee camera of hers
