It sounds like good craic, I'd love to give Archie a go at it.Anyone know where in Norhtern Ireland would do it, or where I could find out?  :- "

Hi Evie

Where abouts in Northern Ireland are you based? Moira Game Fair usually has some terrier racing. It's usually the last weekend in May, 26th & 27th May this year I think.

I'm in the Maiden City. I don't drive so it will be a case of trying to convince one of my parents to perhaps drive to some events coming up. :b Is there a website that I can find out more info on this event?

Macha, is it just greyhound racing that takes place at the Brandywell? I wondered if they might do other types there.

only greyhounds at Brandywell and at Lifford, though they might let your dog have a run by himself after the lure on training days (Tues eve and Sat morn at Brandywell. I took my dogs once and they weren't much fussed with the mechanical rabbit, though since then they've proved very keen on the rag lure at whippet and lurcher races.

it is possible to go to the Moira and Randalstown (Antrim) events by train if you are well organised! you must use a crate/carrier with dogs on Irish trains
