I would just like to thank everyone who has posted messages and sent me personal messages after my young dog Danny's death on Thursday. As you can imagine, myself, my family and friends are all desperately upset and shocked still. He was the dog I dreamed about owning for a long time and was a brilliant companion and fun friend. I am deeply touched by the messages I have received and they have been a great comfort. People who don't own dogs probably don't understand how you can have such a bond with an animal but it is comforting to know others understand.
Although Danny will never be replaced I have made such good friends in the whippet world and enjoyed showing so I will get another whippet and continue showing when the time is right. In the meantime I am grateful for the amount of fun we packed in in the short time we had him and thank Roz and Fred Holland for letting us have him and for their continued support. And much love to the k9ers who have taken time out to say such nice things.
