just wondering is this a top ten open? as i cant find it in the w.news calender and im sure when wallsend re-arranged the harry seymour open they put it on 17th may as they thought there was nothing else on

No, it's not a Top Ten,it's an additional open. Danny.

Its a bit Sad that this open is having to contend with one at Wallsend on same day :(

it can only deplete both opens numbers and with diesel at the price it is even more so.. (w00t)

it would have been better split over two weekends but obviously not possible due to one having to be re-arranged from a prior date (i Think?) :teehee:

best of luck to both clubs its made our choice of where to go a matter of tossing a coin --sorry but cant do both -- :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Maybe whilst in Scotland for the Derby some heads should be put together with regards to sorting dates for next year so we don't have this where we are competing against each other up north again ------

its not often there are two on a Saturday especially in close by regions --- ? just a thought!!!!

steve

When rearranging the open there was nothing showing for that day so apologies for making people choose :( .............that's life i suppose. If the weather hadnt been wet for the first one you wouldn't have to be tossing a coin Steve. Just one of those things. Even discussion in Scotland wouldn't have forseen this one :)

chris

We can't make it this weekend but absolutely love this little club, it's in the most gorgeous setting.

Best of luck with the open Danny - we'll need lots of pic's!!!!

Danny any chance you can put the postcode on for lorna, as she was gonna pop over with her pup but doesnt know where she is going

a shame that these 2 opens have clashed i love east ayrshire but like it as been said the price of fuel and distance dictates so it's wallsend for me .

if fuel keeps going up any higher i think it will be the end of open whippet racing ;)

14th June - NNWRF Puppy/Yearling Champs & June Steele Mem (Devon) (addtnl)

15th June - Devon & Somerset Open (Devon)

18th June - Devon Festival Open (Devon)

21st June - IRG Open (Devon)

22nd June - BWRA IBM / Grasscutter Open (Devon Wrc)

WHY could the wallsend open not of been put on,on one of these dates as not everyone is going to devon JUST a thought. Hope u get a good turn out danny and co

most of wallsend r going to devon so who wud run it? those going to devon from wallsend, joyce, chris and rob, moira, pat and nick, all commitee members, others from wallsend going to devon... lisa and family, rita & ray, moira and family and ive no doubt left some out! if wallsend were to have put this open on same time there wud b no committee to help run it and i wud think a tiny turn out as most of our members r @ devon. as has been said b4 when re-arranging the date NOBODY saw the east ayshire one belive me we alll ove east ayreshire @ wallsend it was just a very unfortaunate incident.
