Hello!

This is arealhuman. I changed the email address associated with my account and was told a verification email would be sent. It never arrived. I resent it multiple times from different browsers. It still never arrived (spam folders and provider-level filters both checked, nothing there). I tried registering separate accounts to make a post like this, and each time I was able to register an account, I had the same problem. On several occasions when registering an account, it was declined saying it suspected me of being a bot (or similar wording). I emailed the contact address listed on the "Who to contact if problems with account" post twice (doesn't look like I can post links), no response so perhaps that needs updating. Today, I settled on a temporary Outlook account (yuck) and that's worked. I'd be grateful if someone could authorise/approve/verify my original arealhuman account please, and perhaps look at overhauling the registration process as had Outlook not worked, I would've called it a day.

If someone could respond here, if it's able to be done I'll get rid of the Outlook account.

Thanks in advance! :)

Also, I should add, automated mails from the forum works as I've received at least two mails form Josie...

Uuurgh, sorry for your battle with technology. I'll pass your comments on to Josie and Oliver and hopefully they can fix something.

No, I don't have the right permissions to do that unfortunately - only admin can.

This happened before, didn't it? Was it to Excuseme?
Checking back, I think excuseme got logged off, but couldn't remember her password or email to get back in.

The email address for contacting admin that arealhuman mentioned is Contact@dogforum.co.uk - hopefully Josie/Oliver will now check to see if it's functioning as it should. Arealhuman, you can always get links into posts by including a couple of spaces so the forum software doesn't recognise them as links - e.g. contact @ dogforum .co.uk

Thanks both for the comments/help - I'm back! The JustMe account can be deleted now (as will the associated Outlook account).

That is good news - I wonder if Josie or Oliver did something, because I've not heard back from them?

I don't think I can delete your other account without treating it as spam - maybe hang on to it in case any other problems arise?
