Please contact Greyhound Gap if you are in France or know people in France who could help with these dogs. I don't know any more details about their owners' situation. This is the message from Greyhound Gap forwarded:
"We were contacted recently by a lady whose Sister is moving back to the UK from France. Perhaps stupidly the dogs are NOT pet passported. All the obvious rescues like Phoenix are full to the gills and the deadline is 2nd June and we can not help but fear the worst.We are going to ask the owners to get the rabies jab and get the pet passport under way BUT for the next 7mnths our hands are tied. If we can find a safe place for them during that time then we will commit to bringing them to the UK as Gap hounds.Does anyone know or have any contacts in France who may be able to help these dogs? We can probably arrange transport to a place of safety. The dogs are currently in Dordogne near Bergerac. ... The dogs are neutered."
