on the seeding thread a lady called diane is coming into whippet racing hopefully next year but that thread was kinda putting her off so thought id do this thread to show that it can b brill>

the things i personally like about whippet racing

1. the straights ( finally here lol)

2. chatting to people whilst @ the racing who otherwise i wudnt know

3. the buzz u get when racing your dog and i wud imagine any that u have bred

4. the feeling if u r lucky enuf to actually win

5. the social side

6. the travelling to parts of the country u prob wudnt have gone 2 if u werent whippet racing ie east ayreshire ( beautiful place)

7. puppies... wot more can i say? puppies just gorgeous

8. cheering your regions dogs on as well as your own

9. watching a puppy from training 4 instance here a puppy training like foxy roxy going on to win a bend title last year

10. for me writing about the north east dogs in the whipper news

im sure theres many more and if anyone has any pics that make whippet racing seem fab please add them. :thumbsup:
 
youve given Jac another job Carol can picture her now buzzing through her pics trying to find one of her a Vicky soberish task in itself that (w00t)

anyhow things I love about whippet racing

1) The social side getting caravan out and taking off to an open somewhere in the country dogs in tow whether they are racing or not , starting next weekend me and Lin (Tarkow) are heading up north for Rising Sun Sat and Dawdon Sun booked a caravan at croft for fri and sat (w00t)

2) all of it
 
Getting away from home in the camper and having a great time

This weekend in county durham for lure coursing and the following wkd at the champs near Gloucester

The social gatherings every Sunday at Blair Drummond

Seeing our dogs do well

Training one of our own pups will be great this season and seeing the rest of our litter improving every week.

Just great fun for the whole family!!!! :thumbsup: :cheers:
