s there a KC rule regarding the number of litters you are allowed to register from one bitch??????????

In the latest BRS there is a bitch, dob 26.05.02, she has had 6 litters, total puppies 39, the litter in the BRS was born on 17.01.09, the litter before this was born on 05.03.10.

I thought the "new" code of conduct was against that sort of thing.

Another bitch has had 27 puppies and she was born in 2006!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the point of the KC so called cracking down when they allow these registrations to go through?????????

Also, in the Corrections, 6 registrations were cancelled?????? Some registrations have "any other colour" instead of colour??????

What is going on??????

Maximum is 6 litters out of a bitch & maximum age is 8 years. So this bitch has now done so hopefully no more pups will be registered??

Also there is a litter which has been 'registration cancelled' I wonder if this is because the 1st litter was only 8 months previous?? but born all the same!!

Lastly a bitch born Jan 09 has a litter April 10!!!

Apparently there are now only 'certain colours' that you can register your pups as and if the colour you want/need isn't listed then you can register it as 'any other colour', ......daft isn't it !!

We discovered this when registering our recent litter.... for example you can no longer have a black and white whippet pup  ! You have to register a black and white as either a black and white particolour, black with white trim or 'any other colour'. We had to go for black with white trim in some cases where they had more white than just 'a trim' , but we certainly didn't want them down as 'any other colour'!!! A couple of our males also had to be registered as 'red brindle and white particolours' when really they are 'red brindle and white' but it was the closest colour we could choose  ..... hence some of our pups are not really the colour they had to be registered as. :-

Whose idea was it to change the choice of whippet colours ? Does anyone know?

The KC are a waste of time, they don't care what you register or how many you register, as long as they get their money. They don't even care what you register as a certain breed - money money money, that's all it's about ;)
