Just got back from The Lizard Open. AND it didn't rain all day.

Thanks to the club and helpers for a very enjoyable days racing. Lovely friendly atmosphere and some great races with very close finishes.

Congrats to all the winners and finalists.

Just like to say thank you to the lizard for putting on a good open

Well Done to Alchemist for winning the heavy weight main

Well done to Mortons double take for winning the maiden group

Well done to It's a Breeze for winning her maiden group

Well done also to RCH Summa Breeze again winning her group

Well done Geisha Girl winning her group

Also thank you to Karen and Edward for letting me stay with them and giving me a lovely weekend with them

I wish them good luck :luck: next week for there open, and see them in October

Also well done to all the other winner's and finalist's

And hope that Fun to Run, Satin Sundown, and RCH Run at mill recover from there injuries and hope there not to serious

Not really Sue. We had to park off the field due to all the rain and so spent a long time away from the program. Plus I've left it in the van.

Ones that I can remember are

Morton's Double Take, It's a Breeze and Brent Bunny won their Maiden groups.

Summa Breeze, Devils Double, Geisha Girl and Alchemist won their Main groups.

Flyaway and Trailblazer won their veteran groups.

Have you got home already Tina or are you still in Cornwall?

Oh yes they did run very well. I did say to Tina that if Alchemist or Enchanter won I'd faint. (w00t) At least I managed not to faint just jump about abit squeaking. It was a very exciting close finish. A great race. I love the little seagull on a rock that we got the other year and this years lighthouses are lovely too. Really nice having prizes with a local flavour. Makes it more special IMO. We cracked open the bubbly when we got home and Enchanter enjoyed his glass. :)

We also managed to drive past Indian Queens this time without breaking down. Had really good journeys to The Lizard and home again AND we don't have to buy a new van this year. Well not this week anyway. (w00t)

Boys are all looking sound and very content.
