we've just got in from our local dog show, run by the vets in aid of national pet week, they do it every year and our boys love taking the dogs in the novalty classes.

Son no.2 couldn't wait to take Sunny whippet in for veteran, at 11 (they both are!) he stood a great chance.

Son no.1 took Devon whippet in, just so my niece could have a go (she's 6, and only just strong enough to stop the dogs dragging her back to me!)

Super Sunny got 'special', much to son no.2's disgust!

Last minute Devon got 3rd! No.1 and niece are delighted (w00t)

and as for my beautiful Genie and Zoe - not even a place in 'prettiest bitch' - worse than that, they were beaten by their cousin JR Jasmine, who only went to see them

still, Jasmines mum was so happy, she's always saying lovely her dog is :*

Love the picture in the car boot  - Well done Doris and dogs, and family

well done to your lovely family Doris  bet you still had a lovely day

we did have a lovely day! my sisters joined me, my niece had her first try of dog showing, my sister-in-law beat me with her pretty bitch (sorry, having a hard time with that!) the sun was out most of the time and the dogs are totally knackered from all that meeting and greeting other dogs - oh yeah, the little 2 spent quite a bit of time singing, at one point it was so loud the whole field went quiet and everyone was just watching and listening to them - it was like a concert! :p

sorry, should have said that when the little 2 were singing, I meant Genie and Zoe, not any of the kids!
