Oh for pitys sake the man cant brush his own hair or dress himself why on earth would anyone let him adopt a dog?

Puppy: Uh-oh... I've just realised it's absolutely freezing, it's pouring with rain, there's snow 2 foot deep out there (and I'm only one foot tall), and next-door's cats are terrifying. I've changed my mind, can I stay in instead?
PM: No, you said you wanted to go out, so out you go. I don't care what it's like out there, it's my job to keep the promise I made to you. And don't expect me to clear up any of the s***, either. [Slams door in pup's face]

Because I would love to know if they normally would accept someone like him.
Working full time, often overseas , irregular hours, chaotic , living in an inner city house without a nearby park..

Most famous high profile people who have dogs dont actually look after them full time even Paul Ogrady has a lovely lady who looks after his lot

Yep it seems money and status mean more than the rules normal people have to abide by..A bit like Madonna adopting all those kids, yet normal people jump through hoops for years and get refused time after time. My aunt dearly wanted to adopt. Gave up smoking, took loads of tests but even though she did everything possible including owning her own home being finacially sound and long time married in the end the adoption people decided my uncle had an unsuitable job... He was a CID officer.

Looks like my little Parson terrier, very cute. Hope the little fella enjoys number 10 and doesn’t do too many number twos on the posh carpets at least there’s someone home all the time to look after him no different to peeps who work full time getting dog walkers to help out. Did read it was from a puppy farm but abandoned by the breeder before being rescued.

There's dogs being destroyed every day in this country. He could have bought a dog like other people do and that would be one be less home for an unwanted dog. It leaves room for another dog to be saved by the rescue. The pup wont be left alone for hours and hours in a crate every day while their owners work like many dogs do or not get walked because the owners dont have time .

who rescued Dilyn after she got a tip off that he was to be dumped by a puppy dealer because he was born with a crooked jaw. Eileen fixed his little jaw & saved his life. She is a hero.

Whatever your politics you have to support anyone who chooses a rescue dog instead of buying a puppy, say- but I just wish I could believe in the PM's general view of animal welfare since I believe he's in favour of bringing back foxhunting. Rescuing dogs goo-ood...ripping foxes apart...also good? People are weird!

Whatever BoJo's motivations - this pup is very cute, and has fallen on his feet. I'm sure he'll be very well looked after - if only because the world will be watching.
