Had the only rain we've had for months last week. Two days of decent rain and a few showers. It's turned the burnt grass in the cattle fields green again

It's quite wet and drizzly here now, but combined with still being quite hot it's actually sweatier weather than the full on heatwave...

There's one river round here that's very full, but the other main river's volume is still really low, and most becks are dry or severely limited.

Rain here too, and thunder! I'd really like a bit more rain to fall though - it's intermittent and not that heavy.

We've just had heavy rain and thunder down here, easing up now. I'm sat with some lovely calming dog music playing and a snoozing hound who doesn't like either of those things!

Some decent rain at last but the small pond at one of our parks is bone dry . I dont know where the moorhens went.

Was damp this morning when I fed the birds … breezy all day but very humid … needed a Magnum to cool me down out shopping

It finally rained today. Last rain was last Sunday. That was after almost constant rain in June! In the meantime I just read that the average temp here for the month of July was 86 F. Normal average temp for July is 78. Yesterday and the two days before were 90. Today was only 65, so it may skew that final number "average"

Lovely weather here in the North West, dry and warm enough to wear short sleeves. Just as well as Luna is getting a bath this afternoon in the garden!!
