Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, we are travelling home that day from Devon, I really wanted to go. :(

sounds very tempting, wonder if Mr Monty Magic could manage any of that?

I soooooo want to come, I'm going to try really hard to make it but I have to work Saturdays and it's always a hassle if I want a day away (Reason I don't go to many Saturday shows).

I thought last year it sounded great fun, and wished I could have come.

I'll keep practising anyway.

Awwwww looks fun,but too far for me :(
I MUST get a map for my wall - I don't even know where Reading is (w00t)

Have you been on www.theaa.co.uk you can get a route planned on the site.

Just put in your post code and either the destination or its post code and hey presto it gives your written directions to print off.

I would LOVE to go to this but its a bit far for me :( It would be nice to see an obedient whippet for a change :- "

Bumping this up for people who are interested in coming along

Would love to come too, it sounds like great fun - not that I have an obedient whippet :b

We are still on holiday in Somerset then though :( Although being on holiday will make up for the disappointment :D

We can't make it, but it's for such a great cause  ...... :luck: to all ......we'll donate some money when we next see Sharon :)

Jeremy attended his first public function today along with his Granny and had an absolute BALL!!! He even competed in the Prettiest Puppy class, where he came 2nd to an absolutely delightful little black & white girlie. He won a minty flavour roper tugger, which is his FAVE toy at the moment

He met Digger & Hugo, Sidney & Emme (we won't elaborate on what they got up to!! Doctors and nurses type games, if you follow my drift), his Aunty Bluebell (who was much nicer to him than her sister, his Aunty old Sophie), all the other Whippies there, children galore, grown-ups galore - he even had a cuddle with Aunty Lyn Chapman and he didn't mind VERY much when she accidently trod on his foot!!! He took all the admiration in his stride and walked very well on his lead and collar because he had forgotten all about it in the excitement. He even raced down the ring in the sausage and spoon race all on his own following everyone ............... that was great because he was given SO MANY sausages. Sarah's niece was one of the lovely little people he met and he REALLY likes her because she was feeding him all manner of goodies so he was stuffed by the time we left!! Luckily he is a good traveller so we didn't see any of it on the way home!

Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera because it is in Finland at present but I know Sheila was taking some pics, I will see if I can get some copies.

The weather was kind, warm and sunny but not too hot, food and drink was excellent as always, thank you Diana and, lastly but not least, a very big thank you to all the Committee for another very enjoyable day!!!

Glad Jeremy had such an eventful Fun Day!

I was hoping someone would let us know how you all got on - we love the Fun Day but couldn't go as we had to collect my daughter's uniform for secondary school and there is only ONE day you can do it  The children were disappointed as they enjoyed it very much last year - especially cuddling the puppies and the oldies :huggles:

Come on people piccies!!!

We'd intended to come - Liz was even going to come down from Scotland and stay so she could go too - we had a lovely weekend planned. Then Hubby reminded me that his neice had decided to get married that day - soem people have NO consideration!!!

We still had a nice day, but I know where I'd rather have been!!!

Did anyone have any pics? :- "

Sharon Dalgliesh took a few but I seem to have inadvertently deleted them and they were only of the obedience winners plus the fancy dress class (and I am afraid my conscience wouldn't have let me put that one on!!). I don't think anyone else had a digital camera with them to take 'around the show' pics :(

I was hoping for one of Jeremy in his moment of glory, coming 2nd to the extremely pretty little black & white girlie  or the two half-sisters (Bluebell & Angel) coming 1st & 2nd in Veteran  :huggles: But, no such luck it would seem  :(
