My old man is so in love with little Zoe that it makes me sick!!

I had a late shift on Monday and the weather was so nice, I really wanted to go to our local national trust land, Ashridge, but I thought mmm, perhaps not - woman on her own, very quiet day of the week, maybe not such a good idea. Also there are loads of deer there and I know the stags are reaching their macho time of the year when they would be less likely to run away from dogs.

Instead I went up the shops and around the field - still very nice.

My old man had the day off yesterday. When I went to work I left him asleep in bed with Zoe cuddled up in his arms like a baby :x

Later in the day he phoned me at work to tell me that he'd been up Ashridge with the dogs - apparently Zoe had heard me talking about it the day before and asked daddy if they could go :* o:)

Not only that, she had some carrot cake from the cafe there, but he told me it was ok cos she bought it from her pocket money

My work mate was in stitches! She asked how she had managed to take some money, did she have pockets?

He said no, don't be silly, she's a little dog, of course she doesn't have pockets :p . . . . . . .she had her purse!!!!!! (w00t)

enough said ;)

That wouldn't surprise me actually. If I mention 'going over the bunnies' and then we don't get round to going, someon has a massive sulk for hours. I mean the dog, of course :- "

Such a sweet picture

such a lovely photo and zoe is so sweet - any chance of some more photo's?

awwww,beautiful picture

Love the story. Is he going to forgive you for putting it on here though?

Beautiful, beautiful picture.

  Aaawww what a daddy's girl

But then again he looks smitten too :- "

Great picture. Reminds me of that Athena one with the muscle bound bloke cradling a tiny baby on his lap. Similar sort of theme (ish).... :b  Lovely subject, well caught

he just said no! and that him and the dogs are hiding under the covers in anger

Hah! That photograph will certainly ruin the 'tough man' image. amazing how something so small, who does not speak OUR language can make itself so well understood and control us so well!!! Julie

just look back over the iggy pages, any thread that starts with my name will certainly have at least one picture of Zoe, and her big sister Genie, and quite a few of the whippets Sunny and Devon, and even a few of the kids and the old man

ok, I'll just put one or two to help you recognise them when you look through  ]

here she is stopping the boys playing badminton in the garden

Huh!! Will the girls get named as 'joint co-respondents' in the divorce? Has your old man got a brother? If so, please post to Australia. Julie
