This is to let racers know that the above week-end of racing is still going ahead because I have have had several enquiries asking if the the Saturday and Sunday had been cancelled owing to the fact that their was no mention of them in this months Whippet News, hopefully this will be rectified in the next edition.

He has taken to racing like a duck to water and has done all we have ask of him and more, he has taken to the bends so we are looking forward to racing him at Hall Green. This year will be a good test for him, but whatever way it goes we are very happy with him, especially as we have not had a dog to race for two years. We only wish we had room for a pup out of little Snow Gem which are due on Friday but it would just be too much for us, with the club to run, but at least, hopefully, we will be able to watch them run.

I think Gem's Lad may well take after his sire and turn into a very fine stud dog.

have to agree his first litter are all looking very good, is vicky and mick not trying his litter brother ( mick's gem ) at stud would be nice to see his pups doing well also :thumbsup:
