Visited track at 1115AM, the frost had cleared. However, I couldn't get my house key in the ground anymore than a 1/4 of an inch. I guess, if the sun stays on it tomorrow, it should soften by 1PM. On the other hand in the summer the ground can be rock hard too, just warmer!

Weather is gonna warm up over the next few day...8 Celsius by Sunday in the Thurrock area. I have never known it so cold for so long down here...maybe it's me job that makes it worse...but, it is gonna warm up....thankfully....

Just heard Ockeden is closed,but it is starting to thaw out up here where the sun is,don't think it will be enough to thaw the ground out though,hope its warmer down there in Thurrock :thumbsup:
