WE HAVE JUST RECEIVED SOME GOOD NEWS THERE WILL BE CAMPING AT OUR WEEKEND OPEN ON THE FIRST BANK HOLIDAY IN MAY

THIS YEAR THE EVENT WILL BE HELD AT OUR NORMAL TRACK IN THURROCK AND CAMPING WILL BE ON THE RUGBY CLUB CAR PARK WE WILL ALLOW TENTS ON THE FIELD. AS CARAVANS WILL BE ON A HARD STANDING YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PUT UP AN AWNING.

ALL TENTS AND CARAVANS MUST BE BOOKED IN PRIOR TO THE EVENT (PLEASE EMAIL MURIEL MUSSETT ON fam_mussett@btinternet.com TO BOOK YOUR SPACE)

CAMPERS CAN ARRIVE FROM FRIDAY 30.4.2010 AND MUST LEAVE BEFORE 12 AM ON TUE. 4.5.2010 CARAVAN FEE WILL BE 30.00.

TENTS FEE WILL BE 20.00 THE RUGBY CLUB WILL OPEN TOILETS AND SHOWERS FROM 8 AM

ON FRIDAY EVENING WE WILL HAVE A DARTS COMPETITION SO DON'T FORGET YOUR ARROWS.

SATURDAY IS THE SOUTH COAST SCRATCH CHAMPIONSHIPS AND WE WILL BE PRESENTING PRESENTATION JACKETS AT THIS EVENT ALONG WITH A PAY OUT.

IN THE EVENING THERE WILL BE A DISCO SO BRING YOUR DANCING SHOES.

SUNDAY IS THE JAN KEEBLE EVENT EACH WEIGHT CLASS WINNER WILL RECEIVE A PRESENTATION JACKET AND ADDED PRIZE MONEY OF 30.00 (NOT SOLO'S) THE OVERALL WINNER WILL RECEIVE TH FABULOUS GOLD CUP FROM JAN KEEBLE .

I AM SURE THERE WILL A FEW OF US WHICH WILL POP OVER THE BAR TO "CHEW THE FAT " IN THE EVENING AND THE RUGBY CLUB HAVE AGREED TO EXTEND THEIR OPENING TIME ON THIS EVENING

MONDAY WE WILL RACE FOR THE SHELIA WEBB MEMORIAL OPEN AND AGAIN WE WILL COLLECT FOR THE BASILDON HOSPICE WHICH WAS SO KIND TO SHELIA.

Pat, please can you put the racing format for the SHEILA WEBB MEMORIAL OPEN on here, as there isn't any information for this in the whippet news.

Also you asked me a few days ago if I wanted to camp, do we need to do it again ?
