My Twiggy has just had her first season and is only now coming out of it. It was an interesting and very enlightening few weeks for someone who's never owned an entire bitch before.

Oh yes, the boys interest will perk up after about 10 days! And the most distressing thing is seeing your innocent little girl shift her tail to the side as if to say, Come and get me

I should add that our boy was neutered about 2 months before Twiggy came into season, but he was still very interested. They tied at least twice and there was nothing we could do to stop them. I didn't expect that seeing as he was neutered. But their bodies were telling them very strongly to do it.  :b

Twiggy bled quite a bit - thank goodness we don't have any carpets in the house, rugs are only now going back down.

I don't think there has ever been a bitch with such a vast collection of knickers as Tia

YOU DO KNOW THAT MALES CAN STORE SPERM OUTSIDE THERE TESTICLES IN THE REPRODUCTIVE TRACT FOR A FEW WEEKS AFTER BEING CASTRATED DONT YOU
