Didnt only see him in the flesh.But got to spend a few minutes holding,and pettin him.When i took my bitch down to the stud farm,where he was standin at stud,after his race ending injury,in the derby.Wish he'd been available to my bitch,at the time.But i had already optid for Mineola Farloe.Who stood alongside him,at the stud farm.You wouldnt have given tupence,for his looks.But boy could he run.Fastest dog in britain,and would have walked the derby final that year.Brian Jone's made good work with his hawk,when he was flown over to have the opperation.Straight away.
