So, we went back to the vet today! (w00t)

Max had a great start - he fell out of the car and bashed both his front legs and left shoulder! So he's got a few more cuts and bruises now. He had to have a rimadyl injection for his shoulder and now he's hobbling a bit.....

Then..... he piddled on the wall in the surgery! :- "

On the plus side he is not coughing at all.

Tiny - well, where to start.... :sweating: he is still coughing, so he has got more antibiotics and some steroids to take for another 2 weeks....

and.... he has got some nerve damage in his spine! :( (I had noticed he had a wobbly leg and sometimes it would pack up for a step or two so thought I'd get it checked out) It doesn't seem to be too bad though, it'll need xraying but he isn't well enough to deal with that at the mo.

Well, anyway, we came home in the snow and then they had a big yummy treat to make up for the injections and temperature taking (poor Tiny's eyes pop out on stalks when he gets his temp done!!!   )

I know - they do rather get in the wars! I mean how stupid can you be? Falling out of the car? (which I ought to say was parked and he was supposed to climbing out but didn't bother to put his legs down!!) I rang Claire at Whitelodge (where I had him from) and she was surprised he didn't break anything! :sweating: I have to say I hadn't thought of that!! He seems fine today just a bit stiff and sore and his legs are a bit cut up. :(

Tiny is ok, still coughing and now tiddling loads now cos of these cortizone steroids

Well Max is fixed! His shoulder is fine and his bashed up legs are clearing up nicely. So far this week he has managed not to hurt himself!! (Touch wood) :- "

Tiny seems much perkier, still coughing though. His steroids are making him wee like a pony! He is getting me up about 5 times a night at the mo for a wee (once he didn't make it and did it by the back door :b ) Luckily there's only a weeks worth of them left!

Laney is making them some lovely warm jumpers with polo necks so that should keep Tiny's throat warm when we go on holiday to freezing cold Scotland! Although that's not til May!

Thanks for everyone's kind thoughts and :huggles: , they are definitely helping - Tiny reads every one of these messages (honest - he is very clever at reading!!!!! :teehee: )

Okay, we were back at the vet's tonight. He has come to the conclusion that Tiny has COPD (doggie asthma) so now we have more steroids - just as I thought they were finished! :( More sleepless nights!! And we have to go back in three weeks. So, we'll see where we go from there....

Max is fine - his legs are almost healed from his tumble out of the car, although he did open up a graze on his thigh from licking it yesterday - he fell over in the garden about 5 weeks ago and it had ALMOST healed, now it is raw again! Honestly, I've never know such a clumsy dog (w00t)

Oh dear :( Poor poor Tiny- he really isn't a lucky dog is he (well he's lucky having you, but the rest isn't great). Lots more hugs and kisses from the girls :huggles: :* :huggles:
