I was sorely tempted by Niceonefrankie - not influenced in anyway by my whippet Frankie of course :-
However - I have gone against him with Salut Flo.
Riverside Theatre for the Ryanair and Midnight Appeal in the lucky last :luck:
And although Big Bucks can't lose - I've had a sneaky ew on Smad Place at 33-1
Thanks both - been a great day - I also backed Sir Des Champs at 6-1 last night - my best ever Cheltenham! 2 winners on Tuesday but nothing yesterday was fearing the worstI was sorely tempted by Niceonefrankie - not influenced in anyway by my whippet Frankie of course :-

I wish they had retired Kauto Star. He has nothing to prove and like poor old Gard Champetre, it could have a tragic outcome. Think the spirit is too willing for his own good.In my opinion too
Ok - what have we started here ...... my choices for each race are:
1-30 Grumeti
2-05 Raya Star
2-40 Sea Of Thunder
3-20 Kauto Star
4-00 On The Fringe
4-40 Dan Breen
5-15 Bellvano
Sea of Thunder on paper shouldn't be able to beat Boston Bob. Luckily they don't run on paper, they run on grass, and Boston Bob has yet to tackle 3 miles (although bred to do so) while I regard Sea of Thunder's fall when well clear at Ascot as a 3 mile win
The Triumph is as wide open as ever, but I was mightily impressed with Grumeti's win over Baby Mix LTO and he's my choice for this lottery.
It's no secret that David Pipe would love to win what he terms as "dad's race" - the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys race at 4-40. He had 20 horses entered at the 4 day stage - down to just the four now! Of these the market suggests that Street Entertainer is the stables choice, but I think stablemate Dan Breen, who ran a stormer LTO is very handily weighted and at 18-1 a good ew bet.
As for the Gold Cup ...... like everyone who isn't connected to Long Run, I want Kauto Star to win this. I seriously don't think he will, but have purposely left it alone as a betting medium, on the basis of not wanting to tempt fate!
Good luck everyone - hope you win some, and that all participants come home safely
Ubi Ace is a favourite of mine, but I think he will be outclassed here. In theory Grumeti should beat Baby Mix again, but BM could have more improvement in him than Grumeti - a wide open race - good luck!wow ian you got em sorted i want kauto to win but not worth a bet is it maybe burton port could get a look in others today iv gone for baby mix / ubi ace /brindisi breeze /cloudy lane open hearted kid cassidy good luck to both off to the bookies to waste more money bye tom /
Congratulations Was it because of his connections or something completely random?I had a small each way on Synchronised. (w00t) Not bad for a non horsey person (w00t)
