Can anybody explain how the BWRA came up with 8-10% levels for caffeine, theophylline and theobromine, and whether or not these levels are still in effect?

I believe these levels are still in effect mark.... :D

i dont know when this rule was set ,however rules change all the time so be very careful as to how you interprit them, about 3 years ago black magic was really down and very lathargic so i wrote to a herbal specialist explaining to him that i had to be very very careful because she was a racing dog subject to drug testing, his name was JAN DEFREISE who took the time to write back personaly prescribing a tonic for the dog ,ithen wrote to bwra advising them what i was prescribed and listed its contents in full, my reply was they could not say if it was legal or not . I then asked the bwra for a band substance list they said they could not supply 1 ,not wanting to break any rules i just gave up may be if we new what was banned and whats not people would not fall outside the rules its only my opinion i am not pointing fingers. phil

I find it hard to beleive that nobody in the k9 community knows how the BWRA came up with 8-10%, particularly given that, unlike the NWRF, the BWRA is a democratic organisation whose every decision should be open to the membership. So I ask again, aiming particularly at those of you who were at the National Committee meeting on January 11th 1998, or at anybody who knows somebody who was, how did the BWRA arrive at 8-10%?
