Went to my local Open show yesterday and won BOB & Group 1 with Hubs (Chibuku Political Agenda at Sharmus) under Jenny Macro of Nefisa Salukis.

Didn't do anything in BIS - all the rest of the group winners were hairies!!

I have to admit though that the entry wasn't very large at all, probably due to the fact that on Saturday it was the Houndshow, Totnes on Sunday and Paignton tomorrow. Something has to give when the show schedule is as crowded at that - particularly when the cost of entries and fuel is so high.

I would have to agree with you, I went to Houndshow & my local show was on Sunday so the local show suffered by not getting my entry. It rained here anyway so would not have been very nice.
