well done for doing that, I'd not seen this before but now I've read it I'm desperate to find out what happened!
 
The club never did get the trophy back as the man selling it was looking for a good bit of money for it and the club decided it was not going to pay the money.

The police were not involved, again this was the general decision of the club.
