On the Ning Nang Nong

On the Ning Nang Nong

Where the Cows go Bong!

And the Monkeys all say Boo!

Theres a Nang Nong Ning

Where the trees go Ping!

And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo

On the Nong Ning Nang

All the Mice go Clang!

And you just cant catch em when they do!

So its Ning Nang Nong!

Cows go Bong!

Nong Nang Ning!

Trees go Ping!

Nong Ning Nang!

The mice go Clang!

What a noisy place to belong,Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!

On the Headstone of his grave is written - "See I told you I was sick"

I just loved Spike. Grew up listening to the Goon's  and read a couple of his books.

I saw Spike once in Wellington, New Zealand. It was about 1976 and I was working as a teller in a bank. I happen to be reading Puckoon about that time. Spike came into the bank and went to the teller next to me :( He had long hair in a pony tail and was wearing jeans and a jean jacket. I was awestruck. After he left, I leant over and said to the girl next to me, OMG do you know who that was??? She was disgusted at the look of him , didn't know who he was, but hated the way such an old man looked. I still think she was stupid :b
